Twitter is definitely a tool to use in the classroom.
The attempt to use a new idea/program such as Twitter seemed arduous at first. I realized after spending the time to learn Twitter, adjusting to the new program became easier with the action research.
The students enjoyed themselves and learn hopefully as much as i have. In addition to my tweets i was also able to show @MalalaFund and share the story of Malala's courageous journey. By encouraging the students to expand their knowledge to what is going on in the community and in the world today, they may be able to make informed decisions and be better citizens.
